Words are my superpower. I use them to make lives better for animals, people and the planet. A results-driven writer with 25 years professional experience, my creative content captivates audiences, changes minds and inspires behavior to grow brands fueled my missions that match mine. 

 

A former full-time journalist with a masters from the Columbia Journalism School, deep editorial roots and research skills fuel strategic my storytelling across print, digital, social and video. I also have a PhDewar’s from the beverage company’s copywriting program and years of agency experience as a copywriter and creative strategist. So, I can distill complex topics into compelling content in AP style and I can spout strategic copy in quick shots and deeper pours—whichever works best as your brand’s verbal Viagra. 

 

At this point, the only thing I haven't written are prescriptions. My words have appeared on bus boards, panty hang-tags, blogs, web sites, white papers, menus, bags of horse feed, strategic marketing plans, TV commercials and an entire album of rap lyrics for singing broccoli and carrot characters for a national nonprofit fighting childhood obesity. My journalism's been published in outlets from Fortune Small Business, where I was a contributor, and the Denver Post, where I was a Colorado Voices editorial panelist, to The Bark and Powder.

 

I live in Colorado to play in the mountains with my hound Benjamin (named after Ben & Jerry’s) and my horse, Theodorable (a.k.a. Whoadammit!) but grew up in Philly and remain instantly distracted by real soft pretzels, pizza and underdogs.
